This recipe is simple and easy to follow, so even if you are a beginner, you can make it without any trouble. In this section, I will take you through the step-by-step process to make a moist and delicious banana bread.

Step 1: Preheat Your Oven

First, preheat your oven to 350°F and grease or line a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

Step 2: Combine Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2½ cups of blanched almond flour, ½ cup of cornstarch, ½ teaspoon of ground ginger, 1 teaspoon of sea salt, and 1 teaspoon of baking soda until fully combined.

Step 3: Mash the Ripe Bananas

In another mixing bowl, use a fork, or a potato masher to mash 3 ripe bananas completely.

Step 4: Combine Wet Ingredients

To the mashed banana mix in 1/3 cup of melted canola oil, ¾ cups of dark brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Next add in two whisked eggs (separate guidelines for vegan option below) until just combined.

Vegan Option: If you prefer vegan gluten-free bread, replace the eggs with flax eggs (1 egg= 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed mixed with 3 tablespoons warm water).

Step 5: Add Dry Ingredients to Wet Ingredients

Using a spatula or wooden spoon fold in the dry ingredient mixture into the wet mixtures in three parts alternating with 2/4 cups of dairy-free milk. Stir well until there are no lumps.

Step 6: Fold in Pineapple & Coconut Flakes

Next fold in one cup of finely chopped pineapple and ½ cup of unsweetened coconut flakes to the batter.

Step 7: Pour the Batter

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and use a spatula to spread it evenly.

Step 8: Bake for An Hour

Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 9: Cool & Serve

Once done, remove from oven and place on a cooling rack. Wait for it cool completely before you slice and serve this delectable healthy dessert.

Are you looking to mix things up and try a different twist on this already incredible gluten-free banana bread recipe? Here are some substitutions and variations that I recommend:

– Flour: Although the recipe calls for blanched almond flour, you can experiment with other gluten-free flours such as coconut flour or rice flour. Keep in mind that different flours require different ratios of liquid, so adjust accordingly.

– Sugar: If you’re looking for a healthier option, swap out the dark brown sugar for coconut sugar or honey. For a sweeter kick, add chocolate chips, macadamia nuts or dried fruit.

– Fruit: While the recipe features ripe bananas, mashed pineapple and coconut flakes, you can try other tropical fruit combinations like papaya and mango or even diced pineapple and kiwi.

– Dairy-Free and Vegan: This recipe is already dairy-free but if you want to make it vegan, replace the egg with a flaxseed egg or applesauce. You can also use non-dairy milk alternatives such as soy milk, almond milk or coconut milk.

Remember that experimenting with substitutions and variations can be fun but it might change the texture and consistency of the bread. So don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t come out perfect on the first try! Keep trying until you find your perfect combination.

Now that you’ve baked your delicious Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread, you may be wondering about the best ways to store it and reheat it if needed- don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!

One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it can be easily made ahead of time. You can simply bake the bread in advance, cool it completely, and then wrap it tightly in plastic or foil. It will last for up to three days on your countertop or up to a week in your refrigerator.

If you would like to freeze your Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread for later, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and foil or place it in an airtight container. It will last for up to three months in your freezer, making it the perfect option for when you need a quick breakfast, snack or dessert.

When it comes to reheating your Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread, there are a few options. If you prefer it toasted with a crispy crust and tender interior, gently warm slices on a skillet or toaster oven for a few minutes until heated through. Or if you don’t have time for that, simply microwave slices for 10-15 seconds each until they reach your desired temperature.

Keep in mind that reheating times may vary based on the thickness of the slices and the amount of bread you are reheating at once.

One important tip: before reheating leftover slices, remove them from the fridge or freezer and bring them to room temperature first to avoid drying them out.

Now that you know how to store and reheat your Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread properly, all that’s left is to enjoy every moist, flavorful bite!

Who needs a plane ticket when you can make this gluten-free tropical banana bread in your own kitchen?

Creating a delicious and healthy tropical banana bread can seem daunting if you are gluten-free, dairy-free, or both. But with the right ingredients and techniques, you can create a baked delight that is both moist and flavorful. Here are some tips to help you achieve the best results when making our gluten-free tropical banana bread recipe:

1. Blanched almond flour is a must-have

One of the secrets to making moist and gluten-free banana bread is by using blanched almond flour as your base. Almond flour adds richness to the bread, making it more flavorful than typical wheat-based banana nut bread.

2. Add Xanthan Gum

Since there’s no gluten to hold everything together, it’s important to use xanthan gum for binding. This will help give structure and elasticity to the dough.

3. Don’t overmix the batter

When mixing the ingredients together, be careful not to overmix your batter, or your loaf may come out dry or rubbery. Fold gently until all ingredients are well combined, but still chunky.

4. Use very ripe bananas

Choose bananas that are very ripe with black spots on their yellow skins, this will add sweetness and moisture to your bread batter.

5. Experiment with flavors

While our recipe is already bursting with tropical flavors from pineapples and toasted coconut crumbles, consider adding unique tastes such as macadamia nuts, chocolate chips, or dried fruits like cranberries or apricots.

6. Let the bread cool before slicing

Allow your tropical banana bread to cool for at least 10-15 minutes before slicing using a serrated knife. The extra time allows the structure of the cake to settle perfectly.

By following these tips and tricks in creating an ideal loaf of gluten-free tropical banana bread, you’re sure to produce flavor-filled results every time!

Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread

Gluten Free Tropical Banana Bread Recipe

A moist and delicious banana bread for those unable to eat wheat gluten. It's a variation on GinnyP's recipe #57225, which was pretty good, but lacked any type of flour. The coconut flour I've added in this version adds a little more depth to the flavor, as well as consistency in the batter. As with all gluten free breads, it's best when fresh, but by tightly wrapping the bread as soon as it cools, it stayed moist for several days.
